Letche Plan

After the church I went to Mary’s house for lunch. She cooked fried chicken, rice, order a pizza and a delicious letche plan for our dessert. It’s my favorite, a Filipino dessert after eating our lunch.  I asked the recipe from my friend and here’s the following ingredients and procedure:

1 can evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
8 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup white sugar(for the caramel)

First caramelize the sugar. Blend the egg yolk, add the evaporated milk, condensed milk, vanilla and beat lightly. Pour caramelized sugar into mold spread evenly and gently pour the mixture on top of the caramel. Place the filled mold into larger pan filled an inch of water and bake at 350 degrees 1 to 1/2 hour. Ready when inserted knife comes out clean. Let it cool completely and transfer to a plate upside down.
